Faculty of General Education
Overview
Through learning from a range of disciplines, such as humanities, social sciences and
health and physical education, the faculty of General Education nurtures human
resources who can flexibly respond to various issues and create new values in
our modern society full of change and diversity.
Educational Objectives
We strive to educate global human resources
who possess broad perspectives, outstanding judgement, and sharp problem-solving
skills. These qualities are essential for our future leaders in technology,
research, development, entrepreneurship, and management. To achieve this goal,
we cultivate linguistic competence, communication skills, global awareness,
teamwork, leadership, the ability to critically assess issues in contemporary
society, and to learn from the past and look to the future. Through these, we
aspire for our students to follow their dreams in the pursuit of solving
pressing issues in our society and creating a platform for shared values to
grow.
Features of the Curriculum
In the initial stages of their education, students learn about the purpose and significance
of studying at a technical college and begin to think about their career path. From
the first to third year, students develop basic observation, thinking, and
expression skills. From the fourth to the fifth year, students learn to respond
to changes and diversity in society through practical thinking and
communication.
