授業概要
英字新聞のテキストを読み、時事問題に触れる。文中の単語・連語・構文に気をつけて読む。After reading で内容把握をし、Compositionで英語の構文を身につける。
生物応用化学科は選択必修科目ではありません。

成績評価の方法
この科目は学修単位科目であるので、（９０時間−講義時間）以上の自学自習を必要とする。したがって、科目担当教員が課した課題の内、｛（９０時間−講義時間）×３／４｝時間以上に相当する課題提出がないと単位を認めない。（各課題ごとの時間は担当教員が設定する。）

成績は、定期試験を70%、提出物10%、小テストを10%、発表を10%で評価する。TOEIC　IPテストの結果を平常点に加味する。

必ず授業の準備をして授業に臨むこと。
英和および和英辞書を必ず持参すること。
